Festival 2015 Trends

Coachella 2015 has been and gone and now is the perfect time to look back and spot the trends for this years festival season. Festivals are the best time to try something different with your look. We’ve had a look at some of our favourite trends spotted at Coachella and found out how we can get them too!

Metallic tattoos seem to be a must for any festival this year. They are the ultimate in boho-chic and look so pretty when styled right and are ideal for festivals. Celebs like Beyonce, Perrie Edwards and Vanessa Hudgens have all been spotted wearing them and look amazing!

Pastel hair seems to be a look that many celebs had at Coachella this year and it looks super pretty! If you fancy trying this festival trend then check out La Riche Directions. These fab little pots of colour come in a large array of colours and allow you to change your hair colour easily!

Bold lips seem to be a fab choice for the festivals this year with celebs such as Katy Perry, Kate Bosworth and Kylie Jenner sporting this trend. From red, to pink and even a vibrant purple from Rihanna, a bold lip is sure to make you stand out and look totally put together (even if you’re not feeling it after a couple of late nights!). Red is our top pick to get a super glam look and pretty much goes with everything
+ anything! Try Model Co’s aptly named Coachella Crush set for the perfect festival lip colour!

Beach hair is a must at this years festivals and Gigi Hadid gave us total hair envy with her locks at Coachella! Subtle waves, matte texture and a tad messy is the key to ultimate festival hair and is super easy to maintain. Curl your hair on the first day and top up with L’Oreal Matt & Messy to get fab beach waves that look perfectly messy!

A golden tan is also a must at any festival. Bronzed skin with a natural make up look and beach hair is pretty much a staple for any festival goer and is super easy to achieve. London Fashion Week

London Fashion Week is always a highlight of the year and gives us the perfect opportunity to spot the big trends for the next season! Autumm/Winter 2015 may feel like a long way off but it’ll creep up quickly – so we’d best be prepared!

Here are a few thing we noticed on the runway this fashion week and the products we’d use to recreate these looks:

Smokey Eye

Smokey eye is a classic – it never really goes out of style but it is back in a big way! We saw a gothic, diffused smokey eye in the Diane von Furstenberg show and absolutely loved it! It’s the perfect way to make a dramatic statement with your look with only a couple of products!

Flushed Complexion

Topshop Unique gave their models a gorgeous flushed complexion on the runway and it looked so pretty! The general theme for A/W 2015 seems to be dewy, fresh looking skin so a dewy, natural looking blush is a must!

Maybelline Cheeky Glow Blush Cinnamon – £2.99 * Body Collection Baked Blusher Rose – £2.49

Rimmel Match Perfection Blush Light Medium – £4.49

White Lines

The key to making your eyes looking bigger is white eyeliner – something which we saw a lot of on the catwalk this season. Jason Wu, Altazarra and Thakoon all featured models with white lined eyes and it is a striking look!

Laval Eyeliner White – £1.99 * Calvin Klein Eyeshadow 101 Artic – £2.99

Manhattan Multi Effect Eyeshadow 12N Pina Colada – £1.99

NYC Eyeshadow I Love NY 917 – £1.99 * W7 Eyeliner Brush – £2.49

Berry Lips

Berry lips is a trend that doesn’t seem to be disappearing anytime soon! This look was all over the catwalk this fashion week with shows such as Marc Jacobs and Phillip Lim adding a bold lip to the make up look!

Adventurous Eyeliner

Now this one is a look that may scare some of us… but it is time to be more adventurous with your eyeliner! Shows such as Fendi featured some different looks this season on the eyeliner front! Although these looked amazing on the catwalk it may be hard to translate this trend into your everyday make-up routine! But never fear, cat flicks and thickly ringed eyes were still featured and still look amazing!
